March Meeting of MIFP 2018


Past Event

The Eighth Annual Meeting of the members of our Institute will take place in Rome (Italy), from 28th to February to 3rd of March, 2018.

The March Meeting is the most important scientific and social event of MIFP of a year. Its attendance is reserved to the Members of the Institute and accompanying persons.
During the March Meeting each Member of the Institute is given 25+5 minutes to present his/her recent research results and scientific achievements.

Upon the arrival, the participants will meet at the Grand Hotel Helio Cabala (Marino) for a welcome party.

We strongly recommend to the attendees of the March Meeting 2018 taking there the black-tie outfit for the traditional Honoris Causa ceremony.

Program 28th of February:

  • Arrival of participants.
  • 16.00-18.00: MIFP Council meeting.

    • 1st of March:
  • 9.00-13.00: Scientific program.
  • 13.00-14.30 Lunch.
  • 14.30-19.00 Scientific program.

    • 2nd of March:
  • 9.00-13.00: Scientific program.
  • 14:00-15:30 Scientific program.
  • 16.00-18.00: Honoris Causa ceremony at the Helio Cabala hotel. Dress code: black tie.
  • 19.30: Departure for the Social Dinner of MIFP.
  • 20.00: Social dinner at Raffaele.

    • 3rd of March:
  • 9.00-12.00: Conference Tour.
  • 14.30-17.00: Round Table about "HORIZON 2020 CALLS/PROJECTS"
  • Departure of the participants.


    • The conference excursion on Saturday morning 3rd of March will bring the meeting participants to the historic Monumental Ring of Albano, where they will be hosted by the City Mayor Mr. Nicola Marino.
    We shall visit the museum of Villa Ferrajoli that exposes unique art objects from the Roman Empire time. We shall also visit the underground water reservoir of Romans, the amphitheater, the historic cemetry La Rotonda and the christian catacombes San Senatore. On this trip we shall be given an opportunity to admire Castrum of the Second Parthian Legion of Julius Cesar and the grave of the Republican Roman heroes Horazie and Curiazie.

    Registration Fee
    Participation fee covers all meals including social dinner, welcome cocktails
    Participation fee DOES NOT cover accommodation at Grand Hotel Helio Cabala. The booking has to be made directly at the Hotel.
    Early payment deadline: 5 February 2018

  • PARTICIPANT FEE: € 85,00 (€ 100,00 after the early payment deadline)

    • * Includes the Doctor Honoris Causa Ceremony at Grand Hotel Helio Cabala (March, 10), welcome cocktail, transfer and dinner at Raffaele’s.
    The fee DOES NOT include accommodation.

    Conditions
