Yerevan

Yerevan is the capital and largest city of Armenia and serves as the country’s political, economic, and cultural center.

It is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and combines a long historical heritage with a lively contemporary urban environment, including universities, research centers, cultural institutions, and a growing technology sector.

Visitors to Yerevan can enjoy museums, public squares, cafés, and panoramic views of Mount Ararat, as well as convenient access to important historical and cultural sites in the surrounding region.

The local currency is the Armenian Dram (AMD). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and many shops, although carrying some cash may still be useful.

Participants are encouraged to check current travel and visa requirements in advance and to ensure they have appropriate travel or health insurance for their stay.
